Short description of error
Selecting multiple faces on my mesh to texture paint almost always immediately crashes blender. I see a spike in GPU and CPU usage when this happens.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open attached file (already in texture paint mode). Try to select all faces. Immediate crash. Debug output attached.

Please try the latest build, there have been some fixes in this area since 6ef48b13186c.

Wow, I had just downloaded the current version the week before so I'm surprised this fixed the issue! Thanks. The color selector in this new version is slightly buggy, it only seems to add to pallet and doesn't change my current color.

Also, I have an unrelated question, but in the new version, the camera-button toggle "Hide/Show in Render" for objects and collections is gone, and now I can only toggle in viewport. How do I go about hiding things in render? Is there a new option to show this toggle by default?

If there is an issue with the color picker, you can report that as a separate bug.

For the hide/show in render toggle, you can find those options in the filter menu.
