If I want to export one of my geometries to FBX, I get an error message and export fails.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open the attached blend-file.
Go to File>Export>FBX (.fbx)
Specify a location and a filename - click Export FBX
You get an error message and export fails.
Exporting works with the blender build from 13.5.19 - blender-2.80.0-git.05f1451d7248
