Not sure I understand correctly.

Could you try explain in detail:

  • where you are dragging from
  • where you are dragging to
  • what you mean by "move, rotate, scale, have a short delay"
  • what you mean by "the previous version is very smooth, one or two versions of the recent update appear."

maybe a short video might help to describe this issue better as well...

I tried to record the screen, but I found that the delay became less noticeable when I was recording. When I turned off the screen recording software, I dragged the box with the mouse, the mouse arrived first, and the box reached the mouse position One third of a second later. Moving the box with hotkey G will not delay. I am sure that replacing other versions of the graphics card driver will not help.

Oh, think of it, I took the process with the phone.

it's wired! I found that when I play the movie at the same time, there is no delay at all, and there will be a delay after closing the movie!

The video was compressed.

Thx for getting back, this sounds very much like T61474.
(issue there seems to be that hardware acceleration gets wonky using gizmos -- and seems to be less of an issue when other GPU accelerated apps run next to blender)

@zhang net (netzhang79): I will merge these reports, but feel free to comment again if you are also having issues without the gizmo active (I see running the mediaplayer [another GPU accelerated app] solves the problem for you, too...)

Not related to the 3d program. Running other 3d software at the same time will still cause delays. Currently there is no delay in recording video and playing video.

Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) changed the task status from Duplicate to Unknown Status.Jun 8 2019, 11:22 AM

This report was closed as a duplicate of the wrong bug. The cause of the delay is a change that allows you to both click through the widget to select, and drag the gizmo. You can disable this in the keymap preferences, or tweak the drag threshold in the input preferences.
