Images do not load OS X PPC
Closed, ArchivedPublicKNOWN ISSUE

Description

Blender Version 2.43, OS X Version 10.4.9

It is impossible to load images of any kind, either into Textures or Backbuf. Since I ordinarily use a 3-button mouse with Blender on ac, I also tried loading images using 1-button mouse. Same lack of loading. Tried with Python 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5 (with the OS X Python 2.5 version of Blender 2.43). No images. Images work fine with Windows 2.43, both in XP and Win2K.

1.4GHz PPC G4
1GB RAM MacMini
ATI RV280 video card.

This is really insufficient information. What has a mouse todo with it?
Whether or not blender loads images has nothing todo with platform either. Further I use OSX G5 here, and it goes really OK.

You might seek the error in configuring opengl better on your system. There is a OSX hints file in the distribution that tells you to use "1000s of colors" for the screen. The mac mini has very limited opengl graphics... it is also not a good 3d workstation.

This is a generic request to test your bug report and see if it is still an issue in 2.5alpha2 if so please let me know by making a comment in this report ie 'also in 2.5alpha2' and I will add it to the 2.5 bug list.
