We need a .blend file and exact steps to reproduce the problem.

All my . Blends do this but here is the most recent one. I don't know if it is just my GPU doing this or if it a reoccurring bug.

Update: When I do try to do a final render there is a message saying "CUDA error at C=cuCtxCreate: Launch failed"

Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) changed the task status from Unknown Status to Unknown Status.Jun 17 2019, 6:40 PM
Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) claimed this task.

These overlapping quads are really inefficient to raytrace, which leads to driver timeouts. While this could be optimized, I don't think we can consider this a bug currently.
