Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
Can't quit out of Blender, in a loop.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I opened and created a new project, played around, and clicked Quit Blender from menu. Dialog says "This file has not been saved yet" so I click Discard Changes thinking it should close the program, but it just closes the dialog leaving the program open. So I instead try again and click Save, same thing, just closes that dialog and doesn't bring up a Save window. So I am stuck in a loop and can't close the Blender application on my Mac.

I am also running the latest on Win 10 and it works as expected... so seems like this is only related to the Mac version.

Can't repo with discard, but save definitely has that behavior but thats not a bug , "works as designed"

I can't reproduce this on macOS either.

Does this happen with factory settings? Or is there some add-on, preference or other system configuration that is influencing this?

It was factory on a brand new MacBook. I've recently downloaded RC1 and have been able to Quit with Disregard and Save my file... so maybe just a transient bug in the previous beta build or a fluke with what all I did up to the point I tried to quit that first time. Can close this out then.
