Blender crashes after trying to slide verticies(double G).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Add mesh > monkey, shift select default cube, enter edit mode, enter XRay mode, box select some verticies, press double G > Blender crashes.

this bug is present on Blender linux on CPU AMD FX-8350, 16G ram, GPU Nvidia GTX690

I can reproduce with your file, but cannot from scratch yet. But from your file I get:
