Short description of error
When using the tool "Paste flipped" doesn't works using it from key menu in anything animation editor.

With shortcut works fine!

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. go to animation workspace and add a single bone
  2. switch to edit mode and move along x axis
  3. add at the end of the name _L
  4. go to armature menu and clic on symmetrize
  5. switch to pose mode and move bone
  6. add a keyframe in location
  7. go to key menu and clic on Copy Keyframes
  8. againt in key menu, clic on Paste Flipped

and nothing happens

if after do clic on Copy keyframes we select the mirror bone, appears an error message

Event Timeline

I tested this on my machine.

When I got to step 8, I still had the Bone_L selected, and the bone moved, but it was not mirrored on the world origin.

When I instead selected Bone_R and Pasted Flipped: I got the message that there was no Selected F-Curve to paste into.

I think this means this function requires the bone to already have at least one keyframe before the paste can work. So, I first added a keyframe for Bone_R, then tried to paste flipped. This time it worked as I expected.

So, I can't say if this is working as intended since I'm not a developer. But it does seem to work for the selected bone if there's already a keyframe.

OK, I was wrong, I apologize for raising an error like that

in version 2.79 I use the "paper holder" icons in the header at the bottom of the editor

in 2.8 the header is at the top what coming from the 2.7 would be the bottom of the 3D view but as it is an animation tool, I got confused thinking that they removed the icons and put them in the "key" menu

copying keyframes is different from copying the pose that is made from the 3D view.

this tool has no error!

the bug was mine
