Short description of error
I want to shape the hair particles with few steps for better control and rekey them for better collision in hair dynamics but all particle weight will be set to 0 as I do it. the problem was back in blender 2.79b.

anyway, weight painting hair particles in blender is painfull and impossible, If I could choose hair particles and rekey them, then set a weight for root and a weight for tip and gradient weight mid particles helps a lot.

if anyday you concidered working on hair particle system, please add hair length option to Add Brush

We are going to rewrite the particle system completely. So this will probably not be fixed until then.

Will put on my desk to check if this a quick thing to fix...
