Blender 2.8 Texture Bug
Closed, ArchivedPublic

Description

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit (10.0, Build 17134)
Graphics card: Intel(R) Core(TM) m3-6Y30 CPU @ 0.90GHz 1.51 GHz

Blender Version
Broken: 2.80 Beta 2019-04-16
Worked: 2.79 b

Problem
The problem with 2.80 that I'm having is when animating Super Mario (Model downloaded from The Models Resorce) the spaces that are in between of his hair that make it look more realistic have just gone completely black, same with his moustache and eyebrows and the space around the pupils of his eyes. Would appreciate this bug being fixed because it did work in 2.79.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Mario will be on the pathway to the castle in a jumping position above a pipe.
Here's the file;

Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) lowered the priority of this task from 90 to 30.EditedJul 23 2019, 4:57 PM

Please attach a simpler .blend file that has just the meshes, materials and lights needed to demonstrate the issue.

This file has many meshes, and image textures are missing so it's hard to see where the issue is.

I am so sorry for the inconvenience

The texture nodes are not setup to handle/use transparency. This is not a issue with blender but a texture node setup issue.
