Don't know when behaviour broke or if it ever worked..
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
- edit mode
- observe snap settings
- select all verts
- move verts (observe correct behaviour)
- select only top 2 verts
- move verts (observe incorrect behaviour)
It seems that the median point of all selected verts plays a part in snap location.
When number of selected verts' "imaginary median point" being off-grid, incorrect behaviour is seen.
