Short description of error
If blend file is saved with "Color" set to "Object", "Single" or "Random" in the viewport shading settings

and mesh has two different materials applied

after switching to "rendered" mode in Eevee, only one material is displayed.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Open file.
  • Switch to rendered mode. Only one material is visible.

  • Switch to edit mode and back. Now it's displayed properly.

Event Timeline

I can confirm in Windows with last version compiled.

If you open the file, you can see only the red, but if you enter in Edit Mode, the two materials are displayed and all works perfect.

@Clément Foucault (fclem) I think this is for you.

Antonio Vazquez (antoniov) renamed this task from Only one material is displayed in rendered mode in Eevee when mesh has multiple materials to Eevee: Only one material is displayed before enter in Edit mode when mesh has multiple materials.Aug 30 2019, 4:01 PM
