Archimesh 'Room from Draw' function does not detect grease pencil drawing and fails to generate the walls

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Imported a floor plan as 'Images as planes' and traced over the floor plan with grease pencil. Clicked the 'Room from Draw button in Archimesh and a message pops up in the bottom of the Blender window saying "Archimesh: No grease pencil strokes. Do strokes in top view before creating room". I tried this by selecting the Grease pencil drawing and clicking the 'Room form Draw' button and deselected everything and tried it that way too. There was no difference, it came up with the same warning message.

I tried quickly to draw a room in top view, I did find it does not work so great with leaving gaps for doors but it worked as expected for me with a closed mesh.

Here is a file with a simple grease pencil drawing I tested on this alpha version. I tried it with closed walls as well but the same result{F7757753}

hi, sorry for the delay. I found the issue and see how it's a little confusing. What's happening is your using a grease pencil object and not an Annotation. If you use the Drawing Annotation tool in the left tools panel, it works nearly as expected. This whole room from draw is a little fussy and does not always produce the expected results. Turning off Floor can improve this. It's not a fantastic workflow tbh, I think you have much greater control over the end result drawing/tracing the floor plan with extruding verts. Thanks for report. Not an actual bug here. Closing as resolved.
