Short description of error
The cycles render preview, is showing the mesh in a collection whose render visibility Is turned off from the view port. Only way fully disable this, is to uncheck the entire layer

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

1. open up blender
2. open a scene I was working on in 2.80 (main release)
3. go into render preview mode in one window, and the hidden collection shows up.
