Description

is this the place to report mistakes in the manual? I noticed that out of core rendering hasnt been listed as one of the new features. It still says you can only render with gpu if the scene will fit into vram. I've been able to render any size scene on gpu since 2.79b's last experimental build.

Event Timeline

ATM OpenCL still does not support out of core rendering. But think this part of the manual could be updated to reflect the current state better.

absolutely, and then it should be slapped on the front page of the website and shouted from the rooftops :D It's a MASSIVELY enticing feature for non blender/cycles users whose current renderer of choice probably won't have this feature.
