Short description of error
Viewport gets overexposed every time a sample is calculated. Exposure just go up
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error


I open any project in 2.82 same bug happens. I select Cycles and then go in rendered viewport and that happens. Also Filmic isnt available so it selects Standard profile

Is the Blender folder in your downloads folder? Try moving it out. It helped this user:

Also Filmic isnt available so it selects Standard profile

That sounds like a corrupted download.

Please update your GPU driver and try with the latest version of Blender

This was fixed in rB1cb938ef2c92: Cycles: Fix viewport rendering when displaying as byte and not half float.

That case only happens when there is no color management though, which means the download is incomplete.
