Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.82 (sub 7), branch: master, commit date: 2020-02-12 16:20, hash: rB77d23b0bd76f
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
This happens when I go into look dev mode, or if I try to render with Eevee (I usually use cycles). Files are fine at first, but I start having problems as they get more complex and memory intensive. It was also happening in 2.81.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Go into look dev mode in memory intensive files.
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

This report is missing:

  • A blend file (unless the steps start from the default startup).

It started in 2.81. I'm not sure what triggered it, I opened a file one day and it was like that. I tried it on several versions of 2.82 alpha, same thing. And it's only on larger files.

We usually don't accept files that big. We require the bug reporter to narrow down the problem.
Normally .blend files can be simplified by removing most objects and disabling settings, until the problem reveals itself more clearly.

But either way I downloaded the file and couldn't reproduce the reported problem (all textures appear after an update in the viewport).
I was able to reproduce another problem that is already seen in the file of this report -> T74302

If the problem persists please open a new report with the required information (small .blend file).
