Short description of error
Eevee Bloom+Screen Space Reflection causing intermittent viewport blowouts and randomly in renders too.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
(Sorry this file isn't as minimal as I'd have liked. But pared back from a big production scene.)

Open the file
Ctrl-F12 to render animation
1st frame is as expected (frame 101)
2nd frame (frame 102) has glitching blowouts

I'm getting nasty blocky blown out glitches with Eevee with SSR and Bloom enabled. In this file it's more related to the top teapot's complex shader I think. It is happening intermittently, and somewhat randomly in renders.

Frame 101

Frame 102

For some time I would get it in the viewport in rendered view, if I disabled Scene World in the Viewport Shading dropdown, but this is also intermittent.

Quitting and restarting Blender, or saving/reloading the file seems to make the problem return to the viewport. When it appears in the viewport, disabling and re-enabling SSR fixes the viewport temporarily.

Checking the eevee passes in the viewport when it occurs it is the Bloom pass where it is evident.

With my complex production scene this is happening on many (but not all) frames at render time, including CLI render. My only solution has been to delete the faulty frames and rerender them one at a time, as the second and subsequent frames are typically glitching out.

I'm sorry I can't be more concrete here. The most reliable repeatable example for me is in this file, Rendering the animation, and Frame 102 reliably glitches. I hope this is enough to hone in on the issue.

I cant reproduce the problem.
Must be Mac related.

Btw, it takes a long time to investigate a problem that needs to render an animation.
There is a reason why we asked for a simplified file.

would it work (read break) if we cut extra frames ? I'm guessing that it's a running out of resources problem..

I wasn't really sure what to do, when the problem relates mostly to animation rendering results. For me first frame (101) usually renders fine, then second and (sometimes) subsequent frames break. For me The problem exists after 2 frames, So rendering just f101 and f102, is all that's needed for me. But I understand it's hard if it can't be reproduced, especially an intermittent issue.

I tried reducing the render frame range to just 101-102 and didn't get the glitch on 102. Leaving the range at 101-103 I still get the glitch on f102 regularly. So the frame range seems to be a factor too. I guess.

So I'll update the file to only render just those 3 frames, and maybe it will be reproducible on Mac? Also reduced the scene to just one light and one teapot.

For reference here's an illustration in video form, at least showing the rendering issue.

Generally as far as resources go I don't think my system is being pushed at all in memory, Vram or processing, and the artefacts happen semi randomly on some frames, not relating to any change or complexity in the scene. Hope you are able to reproduce the issue now.

Many thanks!

As in your video, I couldn't get the white patches after turning off the Scene World in the Viewport Shading dropdown.
Is this the expected result ?

I am at factory settings with no non-default addons, so there could be that.
Run mv ~/Library/Application\ Support/Blender ~/Desktop/ & retry.
