Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
When i flip or recalculate steep aligned normals i have not aligned result. Gimbal lock? Any way to avoid it?


Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
take plane
subdivide simple 2 times
rotate normals to steep angle
flip or recalculate
