Short description of error
Enabling Node Presets, and read the documentation, that i must enable it by clicking render > node presets.
Such a button is not there.

In the node tab, under add, a presets tab has appeared. Which reads "set search dir in the addon-prefs" seemingly no way to actually set that in there
