Short description of error
When the selected (active) object is hidden (H), press Tab and the blender falls.

in the attached file just click tab

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Create cube
  • select cube
  • hide cube
  • Press Tab

Not sure what that means? You mean it crashes? (I can not reproduce this)

I assume you have tried this with a fresh build from https://builder.blender.org/download/?
I assume you have tried this with File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings?

@Eugene (cgeugene) or @TheRedWaxPolice (TheRedWaxPolice) can you try a build from today i belive i have seen a similar issue that was fixed in the last three days.
