Here the .blend file:

I'm not sure if it just hasn't been implemented. Reporting just in case. You open .blend file. The sphere with follow path animation shows no motion blur effect when rendering.

Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) changed the task status from Needs Triage to Confirmed.EditedJun 23 2020, 2:41 PM

@Clément Foucault (fclem) : not seeing this listed as limitation, so will confirm.

Also any type of physics dont seem to be supported?

  • cloth / softbodies etc. dont have deformation motion blur (EDIT: this is working, sorry for the noise)
  • rigid bodies dont have object motion blur

If these are not supported, this should be noted somewhere in the release notes.

Hi, in the same .blend file there is a sphere with cloth simulation and apparently it works. Here with collision and bigger value in Shutter:

Edit:
Oh, I'm not sure about deformation blur

Sorry, yes, it is working, thx noting (rigid bodies dont seem to have blur though)

Clément Foucault (fclem) edited projects, added BF Blender (2.90); removed BF Blender.
Clément Foucault (fclem) changed the subtype of this task from "Report" to "Bug".
