Short description of error
bad selection in edit mode , bad cloth simulation, bad shading in cycles, not moving object only the origin.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
this happened for first time using this new b3d version today...
the cloth mesh was created with a addon called flexi bezier tool, and i realized that some problems started when drawing, and after i convert the curves into mesh.
1- select cloth mesh, go to edit mode, box select,circle select doesn't select the vertices,edges,face in the mouse position properly, its like "shifting" or "avoiding" to select precisely, i try to move the mouse and select a little bit more above of the selection (for example up z axis) and gets selected what i wanted to select but still selects inappropriately anyways...the same happens when i try i to add a loop cut, the yellow edge loop indicator appears out of place...

2- i try to move,rotate,scale in object mode (cloth mesh) but doesn't scale and rotates, but i only realized that origin only moves (and is not enabled origin option in the upper toolbar to be able to move the origin in the other manner its only moving the orange dot, and also there are not visible transform constraints in the panel that cant prevent to be move/scale/rotate)
but in edit mode is working scale,move,rotate funtions...

3- i try shift+z to render in cycles, appears bad shadows or some kind of duplicate of the mesh (cloth mesh) in the rendering (viewport)

4-i try cloth simulation without changing the settings very much (i enabled sewing for example, set object collision and self collision to a very low margin, edit the stiffness), i run the simulation but appears badly misaligned and shrinkwraped to the target mesh (girl model), but i supposedly made the cloth mesh very workable for simulation, so the prolblem its something else...
please check the blend file for more digging into the bug...thanks in advance and take care guys....

Can you provide last version that worked?
Also does this problem occur only in VM?

this happened in my scene, in 2.83.1 but in 2.83.0 everything its ok...also the default cube of this version (2.83.1) has the same problem the origin only moves but not the object, but i go to edit mode and it does move...no option enabled for showing the origin gizmo either... what means VM?

yes that's the information blender gives... but is not related to the bug at all...

That is really suspicious though and I am not sure if unrelated. You are reporting mostly graphical glitches. What is your GPU model and driver version then?

hmm yeah i was, tho i dont have external gpu right know to use blender with more speed for rendering and so...
