Graphics card: Intel Iris Graphics 6100

Blender Version
2.90.0 Alpha and earlier

Short description of error
Loaded object ignore length and direction of particle curves from Particle Edit

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Create mesh
  2. Add hair particle
  3. Open Render option
  4. Select Render As: Object
  5. Add Instance object

Oops did not want to confirm yet.

It looks like object is placed with origin at root and aligns Y axis with hair direction. Length does affect object as well.

I will close this report then.

I think objects will not bend with this setup. I think it could be possibe to achieve with armature or some modifier, but I am not sure. You have to google some tutorial for this or ask at one of the community websites: https://www.blender.org/community/
