Short description of error

Deleting a bone crashes blender.

Based on the default startup

  1. Open Blender
  2. delete Cube
  3. Add Armature
  4. Go Armature edit mode
  5. add bone
  6. delete the added bone (hit x -> bones)
  7. Crash Happens

Thanks for the report. I can't reproduce this here. We'll see if someone else can.

Thx for the triage. I disabled my latest addon installed and it solved the problem. No crashes so far when deleting a bone.

By the way the addon that crashed Blender was the following one: https://blendermarket.com/products/gizmo-pro-addon-blender-2
