Short description of error
Somehow the multires is showing weird artifacts when you undo

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
open blender
add a monkey
go to sculpt mode
add a multires and subdivide a few times
choose the clay strips brush and make the brush size a little bigger
perform a few "extreme" brush strokes and then undo

artifacts will start to show up. and if you keep doing this, more and more artifacts will appear

Hello I am a user, I did the steps exactly the same in the version that you have which is blender-2.91.0-144f780c71ed-windows64, but when downloading the latest Alpha which is blender-2.91.0-6791b88d2805-windows64 and it did not generates no error, you could download the latest Alpha to see how it gives, but to me it does not generate an error in the latest version but the previous one if I generate the same error of yours, tells us how it went.

Even though it has different steps than the T79487, I'm pretty sure it's the same problem.
Switching levels may trigger the problem more often.
So I will merge the reports.
If that is resolved but this is not, then it can be reopened.
