Operating system: windows 10
Graphics card: Quadro K2200

Blender Version
Broken: 2.91 effector does not work with liquid simulations, the liquid just passes thru the effector
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

I can't reproduce this. The effector displaces the water simulation.

The steps I've tried:

  1. Start Blender
  2. Select the Cube
  3. Use Object > Quick Effect > Quick Fluid
  4. Add a sphere Add > Mesh > UV Sphere
  5. Select the sphere and in the Physics Properties, enable Fluid and set type to Effector
  6. Select the fluid domain, in the Physics Properties > Fluid > Cache set Type to All
  7. Save the project file
  8. Bake the simulation

Does this file work for you? You may have to adjust the cache path to a directory that exists on your system.

Please provided steps to reproduce this issue, the most recent version of Blender that worked properly and a minimal project file that demonstrates the issue.
