Short description of error
Blender crashes in a certain situation which is described in the picture below.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open the blend-file.
Position the mouse pointer over the vector math node mode selector, hold [Ctrl] and scroll the mousewheel until you reach "dot product",
or select it directly.
You might doubt if it should be possible to report bugs to this branch, but since everything nodes is the bright future we all are waiting for, please consider this bug report as direct means to make blender better. Nodes are not a feature, but the future.


Event Timeline

The report is a bit off, but the bug is legit. Basically connecting the default Math Vector with dot in the Rotation of the Transform node crashes.

Malloc returns null: len=2147483648 in source/blender/blenlib/BLI_linear_allocator.hh:214, total 21

For the records, this happens to any "mode" in the Vector math that has only a single float as attribute.
