Could you share a simple example .blend file?
(I know this doesnt sound like much work, but it ensures we are really all on the same page)

I can't reproduce the error in Blender 2.92 release build based on rB72a199e148b2 with GeForce GTX 1080 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 and Nvidia driver 457.30. The referenced daily build rBfdd3032f8fad works fine as well.

I'm using the nvidia studio driver. So, you're using game ready driver?

Also cannot reproduce here
