custom shortcuts not working for operations in sub menu
(for example when set E shortcut for extrude manifold instead of normal extrude , when pressing E it opening normal extrude operation)
Description
Event Timeline
Please provide the exact steps that you've used to modify the keymap. You have to make sure that the same shortcut is not set twice. Setting up the short exactly as the existing one for Extrude Manifold but under the E key works fine for me. You have to ensure that the properties in the details of the shortcut are set correctly:
- Enable Dissolve Orthogonal Edges
- Move > Orientation set to Normal
- Enable Auto Merge & Split

i assigned the shortcut by right clicking and selecting the assign shortcut option and its showing "E" at the right side of extrude manifold in extrude submenu. but when i execute the operation by clicking E it showing 'extrude region and mov ' at the bottom left corner
thank you
@anandhu subramannian (Anandhu1234) In that case you've assigned a shortcut to a key-binding that is already in use and you have to check an option in the keymap. You have to change the existing extrude to a different key-binding in the keymap (Edit > Preferences > Keymap) and enable dissolve_and_intersect in the details section of the newly created shortcut. If you do this, it works.
