UV Map view stuck -- no zoom out

Description

I want to add a material UV map (STOP sigh image) to the plane. Lower view shows Layout view. Click "." to zoom in and click UV Editing Tab. You will be unable to zoom out on right window with the plane.

OK, the third time I tried this per above, it worked normally. SO, I couldn't find the DELETE to remove this. It absolutely would not back out at with the mouse pad normally.... on first two attempts.....
