Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1080/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 460.79
Graphic Tablet : Huion Kamvas pro 16

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.92.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2020-12-14 16:29, hash: rB010f44b855ca
Worked: 2.91.0 - hash : rB0f45cab862b8

Short description of error
When using a table graphic that isn't using the Windows Ink tablet API, the middle click no longer work when navigating Blender (Pan, rotate, zoom)
When using the Automatic or Wintab option, pressing one of the pen button only register when the tip of the pen touch the screen/tablet.
It wasn't like that before. It is a Blender API issue
If I use Windows Ink, I loose the pen pressure, so this option is not valid
Graphic Tablet : Huion Kamvas pro 16

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
1- Use a table without the Windows Ink (Non-Wacom if possible)
2- Make sure it is windows ink is disable on the tablet driver

3- Open Blender
4- Go in the User Preferences

5- Use the Automatic/Wintab tablet API
4- Go in the 3D Viewport
3- Press the middle mouse button without the tip of the pen touching the screen/tablet
4- Viewport won't move

Event Timeline

It does affect some Wacom tablet as well. I just tested it.

I just wonder - will this known bug be fixed for 2.92 final? I mean how are the chances of the bug to be fixed for 2.92?

This may be resolved by rB3a1d1aaa86d0d7cc6aaf0e6633d557bbcdd0b514, could you check if the issue is present in nightly?

I checked and the bug is still there. Not working viewport navigation unless touching the surface of the tablet screen on wintab and no pen pressure when using windows ink. Quite a few buddies of mine have the same issue with 2.92 alpha (all of them are using huion tablets).

I tested with the latest version of blender and it is still there

Broken: version: 2.92.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2020-12-20 17:48, hash: rBd283a093d664
Worked: 2.91 stable

I used to have "middle mouseclick" on one of my wacom pen buttons to zoom and orbit without pressing the pen on the table - nowadays, after startup, that only works if i press the button and press on the tablet which is undesired behaviour (i.e. click with the pentip) - however, when i switch applications, to chrome, firefox or a working blender version, sometimes the desired behaviour (having the pen midair and orbiting while pressing button) is back. But only sometimes, no clear workaround. Windows Ink has no clear influence on this behaviour.

@Nicholas Rishel (nicholas_rishel) Yes That build fixes the navigation and the Tablet sensitivity issue. Is it going to be in the daily/night build soon?

Hopefully before Christmas. :)
