Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
I was following a tutorial on smoke simulations when I encountered this leftover physics interruption. I was using fluid effects on a Suzanne monkey (Fire + Smoke, Inflow) and sphere (Fire + Smoke, Outflow) inside a Fluid - Domain cube. I added a cube inside the Domain with the Fluid Effector - Collision to interrupt the flame and smoke but after moving and / or deleting the sphere the spherical fire is still there and the smoke is interrupted by where the sphere was.

You will probably have to free and bake the simulation again. Could you please provide exact steps to reproduce the problem and your (minimal) project file that demonstrates the problem?
