Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19041-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 460.89

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.92.0 Beta, branch: master, commit date: 2021-01-13 23:55, hash: rB5804bf25bdfe
Worked: 2.91

Short description of error
If Optix denoiser is enabled for final render and you have GPU+CPU, Blender crashes. With GPU only, render and denoise do just fine, with CPU gives an error at the end and at a second try doesn't render anymore.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open the file included, Optix denoiser is already enabled for both Viewport and Render, hit Render.

Here my test on Linux, same Blender build. GTX 960

GPU only: Render ends successfully.

CPU only: Render ends with the following error message:

CUDA_ERROR_ILLEGAL_ADDRESS in cuStreamSynchronize(cuda_stream[thread_index]) (device_optix.cpp:816)

Without closing Blender, the next attempt to render the scene I get: Failed to create CUDA context (Illegal address)

Which is something similar to what I reported yesterday.

Did a couple of tries, indeed it happens the same to me. The immediate crash happens with GPU+CPU render.
