Short description of error
When i try rendering using cycles engine it shows me an error "failed to create Cuda context (misaligned address)":

It started to happen when i started applying textures.
It doesn't always happen, sometimes it renders and sometimes it doesn't but most of the time it doesn't render.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I was working on a project that includes a donut and a cup of coffee resting on a plane, everything went well and i could render normally using cycles engine until i added StoneMarbleCalacatta004 texture to the plane, it started showing me an error.

Could you try downloading the latest version for Blender (2.91.2) and then try again? You could also try the beta 2.92 from https://builder.blender.org/download/. Also, it seems that your graphics drivers are not fully up-to-date (461.40 is the latest from https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/) so try updating them as well.

Thanks for the report, but unfortunately this can't be triaged as a complete bug report.

For the development team to be able to help, there needs to be either reproducible steps (start blender, press this, then that ...).

Many bugs are fixed between the official releases. Please try the latest development snapshot of blender: https://builder.blender.org/download
Also see https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/troubleshooting/gpu/index.html for troubleshooting GPU errors.

Please update the report with

  • steps to redo the error,
  • if it was fixed in newer version.
  • simple blend file to help redo the error
