I get some visual artifacts (I guess so) moving mouse cursor over any transparent child window in viewport under some circumstances:
1) Window has some spinedit/textedit fields (For example: View Properties).
2) Edit mode is turned on.
3) "Occlude Background Geometry" button is turned on (in RC1) or "Limit selection to visible" (in 2.45 stable).
How do I get it:
1) Start Blender
2) Create cube
3) Enter in edit mode
4) Press "Occlude Background Geometry" button
5) Open window View > View Properties...
6) Move cursor over it's elements.
I get black rectangles, that cover all visible window area. Example is attached.
System Configuration:
* CPU: Intel Pentium IV 2.4ghz
* RAM: 768 MB
* GFX: NVidia FX 5200, 128MB
* OS: Windows XP Pro SP2
* Drivers: Forceware 163.75
* Blender: 2.45.15 "Rinky", 2008-03-02 20:17:29

Fairly sure this is the noflip option for nvidia that speeds it up but works incorrectly.
Yes... an opengl glitch. I cannot redo it here (OSX).
Since this report is for both windows and linux with identical error, it's very interesting to check which of the opengl settings the driver provides causes this!
Please test as much you can and reply here the results?
This is a generic request to test your bug report and see if it is still an issue in 2.5alpha2 if so please let me know by making a comment in this report ie 'also in 2.5alpha2' and I will add it to the 2.5 bug list.
