Short description of error
Open Image Denoise Crashes Blender when switching input passes to Color only in render view.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
1.Open default cube scene
2.use Cuda GPU+CPU
3.Choose Cycles (supported) and GPU Compute
4.Enable Denoise-Viewport-Open image denoise
5.Go to rendered View
6.Switch Input Passes from Color + Albedo to Color Only
7.Crash

blender 2.93 doesn't create crash logs when quitting, checked temp folder in the local/app on windows, no files were generated after the crash, if I'm missing something please specify the correct windows path to the logs.

No, also happens on MacOS.

Still happens on the latest 3.0 alpha (Mac intel version: 3.0.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2021-07-24 20:25, hash: rBaa3212117471), often not the first time, but consistently after switching input passes a few times.

The latest 3.0 builds (3.0.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2021-08-23 15:09, hash: rB7d17f2addf80) seem less prone to crash; it now only happens when I move the viewport view around shortly after switching input passes.

Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) claimed this task.

I was unable to reproduce this crash before, but this system was fully rewritten in cycles-x so assuming the bug is solved.
