Event Timeline

Richard Antalik (ISS) changed the task status from Needs Triage to Needs Information from User.Jun 21 2021, 4:16 PM

I can't reproduce this issue.

Please run file blender_debug_log.cmd, reproduce crash and upload created files. In debug log file there should be path to crash file. Please upload that file as well.

here they are

and the crash text

Cannot reproduce either with provided file.

@Tomasz Kaye (bitbutter) does this happen when you click on File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings and repeat steps to reproduce?

@Richard Antalik (ISS) yes. i still get the crash after i load the factory settings.

Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) claimed this task.

Could reproduce in rB0e581f619670, rB0606a37e1a8c is already fine, so this seems fixed.

Please try a fresh build from https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/.

Will close as resolved, but please comment again if this is still an issue for you in a fresh build (we can always reopen in such case)

thanks! i don't get the crash in the latest build.
