Event Timeline

Hi! I can't reproduce it on 2.93.0, hash: 84da05a8b806 nor 3.0.0 Alpha, hash: 62d9dabc7db4 on Windows 8.1 64 Bits with a tablet Wacom Bamboo Connect, driver 5.3.5-3

It might be helpful to include your tablet model and driver in the bug report.

Wacom Intuos 5 touch PTH-850, driver 6.3.36-1

To clarify, the pressure sensitivity does work in 3.0.0 Alpha, just not in 2.93

@Nicholas Rishel (nicholas_rishel), do you know which commit fixes the issue in 3.0.0.?

Guess it is not backported yet. Not sure if problem is fixed in 3.0.0 because I don't have such system to test :(

@Pratik Borhade (PratikPB2123) Likely 6f158f834d. I wouldn't consider this change as a back port candidate (unless by demand, after 3.0 release if there's no major issues).

If Windows Ink is set as the Tablet API the issue was likely fixed by the above commit's dynamic loading/unloading of Wintab.

@Nicholas Rishel (nicholas_rishel) , thanks for answering.

So do you think it's better to close the task? :)

Just noticed the report notes 2.92 did work. To my knowledge there shouldn't have been any tablet changes from 2.92 to 2.93.

This probably should be fixed. I'm available to answer questions but I won't be volunteering time to investigate or fix LTS releases.

I have just tried to use my tablet with 2.93 again and experienced no issue with pressure sensitivity. I did not change any settings. I have to assume whatever the issue was must have been user error on my part. I suspect that a driver update was what resolved the issue for me. Still, it is curious that 3.0 and 2.92 worked while 2.93 didn't, but it does not seem likely it was an issue with Blender. Issue resolved.
