Short description of error
Blender does not start and prints on the commandline:
/blender: error while loading shared libraries: libwayland-client.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I am on a X11-only system, so I cannot provide this library.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
No Blendfile needed - just start one of the broken versions mentioned above on a X11-only system.

Event Timeline

System/graphics card data were not transferred:
Operating System: Gentoo Linux, updated daily (pure X11, no Wayland)
Graphics card: NVIDIA Corporation TU106 [GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER] (rev a1)

Some similar issues was reported recently (related to building on linux):

No activity for more than a week. As per the tracker policy we assume the issue is gone and can be closed.
