Thank you for the report.

If you go to Orphan Data in the Outliner, you will see a Sphere_instance that is greyed out. It is still being calculated as part of the Rigid Body Simulation. Right click on it, and select Delete. You now can rerun the simulation and it works as expected.

I have added it back into the scene in the picture below so you can see it.

I tried to remake your file but I couldn't. When I delete the second sphere, it gets completely deleted from the file.

Do you know how you made your file?

Thank you for the report.

Wow, thank you for the described solution! I didn't know about it.

Actually, no. As I thought I didn't do anything unusual while was creating that scene. Anyway I will try to replicate this behaviour in my next attempts.
Thanks for helping me!
