Short description of error
Drag options shouldn't be exposed in the Annotation and Sample Tool, as it doesn't make sense to change dragging behaviour in these tools:

Hi @Peter Fog (tintwotin) , thanks for the report. As far as I can see, Issue is not specific for video sequencer. Option is even exposed in 3D viewport.

Hi @Campbell Barton (campbellbarton) , not sure if they are exposed for a purpose or just by mistake. Could you please take a look?

The drag option would make sense once it's supported (for the RMB-select keymap).

Note that this bisects to rBfa2c1698b077: VSE: Image transform tools for me.

I think this could be closed and fallback tools for the sequencer marked as a TODO.

@Campbell Barton (campbellbarton) This report is for the annotation and sample tools, does specifying the drag behaviour make sense for these tools?

I re-checked bisect too and it is really caused by fa2c1698b07, I guess by introducing select operator to tools?

@Campbell Barton (campbellbarton) Is it planned to hide fallback options for LMB select keymap? Now this seems to work as intended I would say.

As I do not have anymore time or motivation for a continued investment in the Blender project, I'm giving up on this report for now.

Sorry to hear (thx again reporting). In my opinion we should not sweep this under the carpet (esp. since this already been confirmed), there is still a chance to get this fixed in the future and others might be affected by this issue as well.
Feel free to unsubscribe though.
