Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.0.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2021-10-08 20:02, hash: rB886196b88817
Worked: Blender 2.93.5

Short description of error
When:

  1. I switch to render mode in viewport or 2) I push [F12] to render scene, blender no render and return this error message:

"Invalid handle in cuModuleGetGlobal_v2(&mem, &bytes, cuModule, name) (C:\Users\blender\git\blender-vdev\blender.git\intern\cycles\device\cuda\device_impl.cpp:904)"

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Cycles Render Devices : CUDA
1) open blenderfile  => [Splash Screen blender 2.81] available on blender.org 
2) Switch to render mode in viewport or Make [F12] to render scene
3) => Error on Blender 3.0 Alpha (OK with Blender 2.93.5)

I can't reproduce this problem. It would be useful if you could confirm it still happens with the latest 3.0 version, and to run Blender with the blender_debug_gpu.cmd in the installation folder to generate debug logs that you can attach here.

Potentially it's running out of memory, though I would not expected this particular error for that. It might be that the real error happened earlier.

No activity for more than a week. As per the tracker policy we assume the issue is gone and can be closed.
