Worked: not sure

Short description of error
FINISHME error message when starting blender from terminal.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Start up blender from a Linux terminal enumerator.

When starting blender from the terminal I get the error:

../src/intel/isl/isl.c:2095: FINISHME: ../src/intel/isl/isl.c:isl_surf_supports_ccs: CCS for 3D textures is disabled, but a workaround is available.

It's very likely that I get this error when not starting from the terminal, but as I can't see a terminal I can't see the message

I am running 64 bit xubuntu 21.10 on a System76 Gazelle.

Thank you for the report.

Since that file path resembles nothing I recognize in Blender’s code base, I googled isl.

That lead me to this Mesa documentation page.
https://docs.mesa3d.org/isl/index.html

As this points to this being an issue with the Mesa driver, and not Blender’s code, I’ll close this report as per Blender’s tracker policy.
