Broken: version: 3.1.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-01-17 23:26, hash: rB54fb1a75ee19
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
Blender Crashes when are working on Shading interface

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open Blender, select "Shading" tab on the tab top menu of interface, then click to select default cube.
Same occurs when change a window to "Shader Editor"

Please rename Blender version from 3.0.1 to 3.1.0 in title. This can be confusing, as both are two separate versions - 3.0.1 is stable, and 3.1.0 is in beta now.

Hi, thanks for the report. Perhaps crash has been fixed already. See: T94998: Can't Open Shader Editor Workspace or Pull-Down (Mac ARM)
