Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[Please describe the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

  • Change Eevee to Cycles
  • Add Subivision Surface Mod on a cube
  • Change the viewport shading to render view
  • Compare between versions 3.2 and 3.1 or older
  • Render as default and usual in both
