Mod Subivision Surface seems broken in 3.2 when one render using Cycles.
It happens in viewport shading render as well as making the render:

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]
- Change Eevee to Cycles
- Add Subivision Surface Mod on a cube
- Change the viewport shading to render view
- Compare between versions 3.2 and 3.1 or older
- Render as default and usual in both
