Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: RX580

Blender Version : 3.0.1

Hi, I recently changed some stuff on my pc, as changing User's name, did a huge windows 10 update, and updating my graphic drivers. And now, when I start blender, one time out of two the whole UI is flickering and it crashes when i wanna load a file, or sometimes just by trying to go in the settings. So I formated my Window's SSD, everything was clean, and downloaded Blender again. The flickering didn't disappeared, I tried to reset drivers, and now i'm wondering if I should flash my graphic card (I don't really understand what it means).

Hi, Thanks for the report.
Problem seems related to your GPU driver. Are you using the latest one?: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-rx-500-series/radeon-rx-580
Can you provide System info file?: Help → Save System Info
Please test if problem is replicable when running blender from blender_debug_gpu_glitchworkaround.cmd (enables all available workarounds for driver related issues)

I'm almost sure to have the latest driver version, I downloaded it again to be sure. I tried the debug blender, it's not solving the problem. It seems to work a little better though, but i'm not sure. I still have crashes when I try to save, or just by navigating into the directory window. I can give you the output files from the log.

Right now i'm using Blender version 2.80.75 and it works fine but i have thos type of graphic bugs

Another similar report is lying around so I will merge your report there: T95555: Blender suddenly close himself (AMD)
(Just a guess) That flickering is probably related to FreeSync? Can you reproduce when disabling it from Radeon settings?: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-013

Ok so finally, here is the solution to my issue :

Uninstalled AMD Software Suite

Uninstalled Graphics Driver Via Device Manager

Windows Initially replaced graphics driver in device manager with Generic Windows Driver but AMD 6900 XT was automatically reinstalled.
Driver Version in Device Manager shows 30.0.13023.1012 10/18/2021

Now Cura and Blender no longer exhibit issues mentioned before

Now I Reinstalled radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-22.1.2-win10-win11-64bit-jan25
Recommended reinstall of Version 22.1.2. (Shows 30.0.14023.3004 1/18/2022 in device manager)
Checked Factory Reset as well

All problems have gone away now.
