System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19043-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 710/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 472.98

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.0.1, branch: master, commit date: 2022-01-25 17:19, hash: rBdc2d18018171
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
[Mirror of Hair particle gets shifted after applying Subdivision modifier before applying its working Good]

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[Add subdivision Modifier to a mesh and then use add hair particle system then try adding Hairs with mirror it will work but when you apply subdivision modifier and then try to add hair mirror is offset irrespective of scale or position of origin. You can also create this By just switching position of particle modifier and Subdivision Modifier.]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

Cannot reproduce here.

  • does this happen with any mesh? (e.g. default Cube?, Monkey?)
  • does this also happen if you have the Topology Mirror option OFF?
  • please share your example .blend file

  • I am sorry didn't got into my mind to try on other mesh, its working on other meshes like monkey or cube.
  • Yes its happening even when "Topology Mirror " Option is OFF.
  • I will share that blender file Note: I sculpted that model Retopologise it Retopoflow and then added subdivi modifier then made hair but after that had to remove the hair and apply subddivi modifier cuz needed to have more poly count for weight paint but this Happened.

*PROBLEM SOLVED* but i would like to know what this is.

I just saw some Coordinates of location and clicked on Auto that Solved the issue but would really Appreciate your time if you know what texture space means.
Thank You so much for your valuable Time.

This was probably due to a bug really, would need to check when this exactly changed.
In 3.1/3.2 builds from https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/ as well as in 2.93, this was working without the Auto Texture Space option.
For documentation on texture space (incl. how to visualize this in the viewport), please refer to https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/3.0/modeling/meshes/uv/uv_texture_spaces.html.

Just checking if you can confirm it is solved for you in 3.1?
