Can't make changes to Grid (Add>Mesh>Grid) options (greyed out)

Short description of error
When adding a Grid mesh (Add>Mesh>Grid) you can't modify the options of the newly added mesh. Values in the options are greyed out and can't be modified. See attached Screenshot (options box bottom left/ temporary options popup menu).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
New generic project file, delete default cube, add->mesh->grid
Add grid menu appears bottom left, expand it
Try to modify values - you can not. Everything is greyed out

Hi, thanks for the report. Looks like Global undo is not enabled: EditPreferencesSystemMemory & LimitsGlobal Undo
Either try enabling it or just do factory reset: FileDefaultsLoad Factory Settings

Unfortunately enabling Global Undo did not fix the issue. I saved the settings and restarted Blender but the issue persisted.
I'm hesitant to do a factory reset because I would lose all my other personal settings, so I don't know if that would resolve the issue.

You won't unless you save preferences.
Load Factory settings will not permanently make your preferences to default
You'll get your previous settings when you reopen Blender.

No activity for more than a week. As per the tracker policy we assume the issue is gone and can be closed.
