Short description of error
Using the uploaded file, selecting the object and hitting TAB to go into Edit mode causes Blender to crash. The object was imported from a DAZ object using DAZ Importer. Even if there is something wrong in the vertices/edges/faces of the object, I would think Blender should not crash.
I was able to work around the crash by applying a Decimate modifier, using Collapse, and setting the ratio to 0.999. This seems to remove the offending vertex/face and I was able to successfully enter Edit mode.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
- Load the file
- Select the object
- Tap the TAB key to enter Edit mode
